Coached by her father, Valeriy Kutuzov, she began playing tennis at age seven with father at Odessa Tennis Academy. Her favorite pastimes include shopping, swimming and going to the beach. She enjoys Russian books and food. Her favorite color is blue and favorite city to visit is Miami. She admires Chris Evert and Pete Sampras.
